Your wedding, your way

Have you been to a truly great wedding - not just the after-party, but a ceremony that was fun, really about the couple, and that you felt part of? Many weddings turn out to be a nice half-hour formality for the couple before the fun stuff begins. It doesn’t have to be like that. Your wedding could be ceremony written with you, and for you, involve your family and friends, to celebrate what makes you both who you are.

As a humanist celebrant I’ll help you tell your story, in a ceremony that is unique and special for you and your guests, and memorable for all the right reasons: personal, fun, joyous and touching, with love, laughter and probably tears.

I’d like to think it goes without saying - but I say it anyway – it is who you are, who loves you, and how you love others, that we celebrate.  Whatever personal pronouns you use, dear human, I’ll work with you to give you the wedding ceremony you want.

Your wedding can be whatever you want it to be: a quiet joyous affair, a large gathering, traditional, themed, indoors, outdoors, underground, at sea or, why not, even in the air (can’t think how that would work but happy to explore this with you) - whatever’s your thing. Most importantly, your wedding should be uniquely tailored to you. And you aren’t leaving your dog at home are you? They are usually glad to attend and happy to be ring-bearers.

It doesn’t have to be ‘out there’ or 11/10 on the dial either. There’s no need to follow trends or influencers: make it real for you on your special day, whether in a stately home, a wedding barn, a yacht club, your favourite pub, beach, garden or a woodland clearing.
